Re-issue of 1968 recordings
When Peter Austin, lead singer of the Clarendonians, left Coxone and Ernest Wilson, he started recording for B K Calnek of Caltone Records as a Co-Producer and Singer. His only chart hit at that period was Lonely Heartache. But funny the most recognition today Peter is getting for his song "I'm Sorry". Peter recalls: "I'm Sorry" was written just to say to Hortense Lewis my love of many years after we had a domestic dispute. The background vocals were done by two brothers, Hugh Godfrey and Neville, the band backing was done by Lynn Taitt and his band."
